October Updates

First the good news:
I found out September 27th that I passed the Kentucky Bar Exam. In fact, all five of the members of my study group found out that we passed, and we all had a job offer that day as well. If I can refrain from engaging in any duels between now and October 18th, I’ll take the oath and become a licensed attorney in Kentucky.

I turned 29 on the 6th of October, and I was still celebrating the bar victory. Union’s homecoming was that weekend, and I got to reunite with a great group of friends.

As far as work goes, I’ll be the staff attorney to the Master Commissioner’s office. I’ll still be doing the web and database work, as far as I can tell. But I’ll also be getting more special projects and research, on top of a healthy case load for legal review. I’m still in a cubicle for now, but hopefully I can snag an office before too long.
